Ken Club opens.

Located initially at 74 Warrenton Street, it moves next door to the former Theatrical Club at the corner of Washington and Tremont Street on October 1, 1940. The club introduces the Sunday afternoon jam session that other clubs adopt as well. The club closes in March 1949.
